Thanks John. I did try that and I also tried loading other files that worked in the past. I still had that problem. In fact, when I loaded an older file, all the instruments came up as electric piano which makes no sense since that file has been complete for a few years. I am beginning to wonder if the Finale program is corrupt. I don’t want to assume that until I am sure I’ve exhausted everything else - hoping it is something simple.
