In the current versions of Finale, that "Go To Measure#" is only effective once the first ending is played -- it does not prevent the first ending from being played as Robert asked for help with in the original message.
As I recall that has always worked that way -- it's for defining which measure the repeat should go back to or jump forward to, but only after the first ending has been played. David H.
