RP plugins are fully functional in Fin25, including many new features unavailable in Fin08. TGTools is available in a beta release that includes almost everything I use. The one feature I use still not available is the staff list manager and optimization copying. (I got so impatient for usable optimization copying that I have added it as a feature for the next release of rp's.)
I'm not sure where JW stands at this point. Two of his most commonly used plugins now come standard with finale, including fin25: staff spacing and system divider. Both Jari and Tobias have publicly committed to full 64 bit versions of their plugins. There are many useful improvements in finale since fin08. I would not go back. But you will end up missing note-attached expressions. To this day I resent that confiscation of features by Makemusic more than any other confiscation they've foisted on us.
