Refreshing the files, restarting Finale, ensuring the parameters for the folder are set have had no effect and the files are not in the SYSTEM32 folder. But I have now gone through everything and restarted Finale several times suddenly, the folder has reappeared. I do not know which action fixed it. One thing might point at the problem, although I have 2014.5 installed, I have noticed that when I open a file via Window Explorer, it actually opens up FInale 2014d. Even when I try to force the file to open with 2014.5, it still opens with 2014d.
