Have you downloaded the latest MusicXML plug-in for Sibelius? That might make the import into Sibelius work better. Have you tried exporting from Finale wiht the .musicxml suffix and then simply renaming the suffix before importing into Sibelius? It might not work since the file format for the newer musicxml might be different than Sibelius expects, but it would be worth a try. What's happening here is that MusicXML has moved on from when Sibelius last released its upgrade. Let us know how well it works simply renaming myfile.musicxml to myfile.xml and importing into Sibelius. -- ***** David H.
