What I keep forgetting in the Windows version is that you have to be in 
the Speedy Entry tool, but you have to click outside the staff first to 
get out of the Speedy Entry box where you enter notes.  *Then* you 
ctrl-click (opt-click on Mac) inside the measure you want to edit and 
the Edit Frame dialog with all the checkboxes, including playback, will 
appear.
