Before rushing to upgrade to Catalina, remember that any new Finale version may introduce new features that make them unsuitable for your needs. For example, recall that after the introduction of Finale 25 we had to wait for third party plugins to be compatible with it. If you depend on third party plugins, I would be cautious about upgrading OS until I knew for certain how well they would work, especially if (as in this case) the new OS requires upgrading to a new version of Finale.
