Steve is right to suggest this. I haven’t seen it on my system for a long time since using Finale 25. Altho when it did appear for me, it was usually in the form of continually putting in the wrong element and was frequently the last one I added with a meta tool. If his suggestion doesn’t work, the only other thing that did work for me was a complete system reboot. A PITA but it these a try.
