Thanks for the input. I've seen users daemon, nobody and www in NetInfo, and already had a pretty good idea what they were for, I was just surprised at the sudden appearance of new friends in the Users panel, and somewhat amused by their names. As mentioned earlier, the users cannot be su'ed, since their shells are /dev/null.
