Hi, my Lyx is working fine under the same conditions. But here's a wild guess: have you tried starting up Lyx from Terminal.app instead of an X window ? Both work for me, but perhaps you aren't getting all the necessary paths set correctly when starting an X window. It doesn't look like an X related problem to me. Hope this helps - Jens
