Alexander,

Thank you very much for the reply. I did the selfupdate-cvs. After
my posts last night, I was so frustrated that I dove into the
configuration files and did some major hacking to get everything to
compile and install cleanly. However, I'm still stuck on installing
windowmaker. I'm getting this now:

  /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ./wxpaste.1x /sw/src/root-windowmaker-0.80.0-1/
sw/share/man/man1/wxpaste.1x
Making install in contrib

  (cd /sw/src/root-windowmaker-0.80.0-1/sw/bin ; ln -s ../lib/GNUstep/Apps/

install -d -m 755 /sw/src/root-
windowmaker-0.80.0-1/sw/share/doc/windowmaker
bad command-line parameter -d
Usage: install <switch>
Where switches are:
     -s --quiet make silent build
     -h --help show this message

### install failed, exit code 1
Failed: installing windowmaker-0.80.0-1 failed

I can run that install command by hand, and it works fine. I have no
idea what the heck is up. This just refuses to go smoothly. Time to buy
XTools I guess.

Regards,
Paul
