So you mean, if a new X11 version is released, and/or > XDarwin.app is updated, people have to update OroborOSX as well?
No big deal, I would say. You just duplicate some 4MB stuff. The new oroborosx seems pretty cool to me. The only problem I had so far is that it doesn't quit, it "quits unexpectedly", i.e. it crashes on exit. > What would happen when "startx -- -rootless" is entered in a terminal? Nothing else than before. OroborOSX hides its private XDarwin.app in /Applications/OroborOSX-v0.8preview.app/Contents/XDarwin.app, and your /usr/X11R6/bin/XDarwinQu artz will still be a symlink pointing to /Applications/XDarwin.app/Contents/MacOS/XDarwin -- Martin _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
