how do I set up proxy servers through fink?
I know the fink configure deal.......... but it is not connecting to the proxy properly.
If i Have a proxy with the address: proxy.uq.edu.au port:80 and a username and password for the
server.........Exactly what should I be typing in when it asks me to?
Also how can I back up stuff that is installed via fink to disk just in case I re-install and don't want to
download again?
Hope someone can help because I have been trying to getting gimp and lyx installed for the past 3-4
weeks.....
