Title: Binary vs. Source version of Fink
If you have the binary installer version of Fink, can you update it with “fink selfupdate”, and if you have the source version, can you update it with whatever apt-get or dpkg command you use for updating Fink? What are the differences between the two versions? Just the installation procedure, or the operation as well?

Also, I just did “fink selfupdate” on the source installation of Fink. I now have version 0.9.11-1. Why do I not have Fink version 0.4.0 like was announced today? (I’m also set to use CVS repository package descriptions, too. Does that affect Fink itself?)
