Thanks for the tip. I ran "fink rebuild gdk-pixbuf-shlibs" and that brought my icons back. However - I am still getting some oddities with Sawfish: 1) My windows have no borders - not in gimp or anything - so I can't move them. When I go to Settings ----> Sawfish Window Manager it tells me "Sawfish isn't running" Of course it's running!! Grrrr. 2) My bottom taskbar has a constant message "Panel-rear" - like it is an active application or something. Anyone know how to get rid of this? 3) My cursor reverts to an "X" most of the time, instead of an arrow. It doesn't seem to impede anything, but if I recall running GNOME on Linux, I don't remember it looking like that. Thanks! Hope you can help - feel like I've made progress for once! -- David W.
