p.s. [to Zorro] it's my job to do this and I certainly expected a simply
install of Fink -that, I got- then the same for xfree86-rootless, which did
install without a hitch... but where's the icon (i take there is suppossed
to be one for XDarwin)?

p.p.s. I have not experienced this with any previous Fink>xfree86 install.
what should i do?
