I've had fink installed for quite sometime with few probs. I installed "bundle-gnome" in the past, and used it successfully.
I am now trying to install KDE, using: sudo fink install bundle-kde, and after confirming a few questions, downloads begin as usual, until I get to the arts-1.0.2-1 package. The last several lines look like the following: g++ -DGSL_WANT_GLIB_WRAPPER -DGSL_WANT_ARTS_THREADS -O2 -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -ftemplate-depth-99 -o .libs/libartsflow.la.closure .libs/libartsflow_la_closure.o .libs/fft.o .libs/libartsflow_la.all_cc.o -Wl,-bind_at_load -L/sw/lib ../mcop/.libs/libmcop.dylib -L/usr/lib/gcc/darwin/2.95.2 -L/usr/lib/gcc/darwin ./.libs/libartsflow_idl.dylib -L/usr/X11R6/lib ../flow/gsl/.libs/libgsl.a /sw/src/arts-1.0.2-1/arts-1.0.2/mcop/.libs/libmcop.dylib -ldl -lstdc++ -lcc_dynamic -lSystem -lpoll /sw/lib/libesd.dylib -laudiofile /sw/lib/libaudiofile.dylib -lm g++: /sw/lib/libesd.dylib: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [libartsflow.la.closure] Error 1 make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2 ### failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling arts-1.0.2-1 failed [localhost:~] aweeks% When I try installing just the arts package, I get the same results. I then did a fink selfupdate-cvs, and fink update-all Same results. Thanks!
