Sorry if this has been answered already, but I am still catching up with mailing lists after 2 weeks of absence... You can always copy the *.info and *.patch files into your local tree (/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/) and modify them to build the new version. In this case, you want to replace the version number (in the file name and in the "Version:" line) from 2.4.7 to 2.5.2. Then run "fink install fvwm2" and look how far the compilation goes. When it breaks, modify the info file (AFAICS, you want to drop in a line "UpdateConfigGuess: true"). In case it works, tell the package maintainer about it. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
