Is there a way for me to install one of the packages that's been
ported and be able to compile or run the new jdk1.4.0_01? It
would be great to be able to use my mac when I'm at working and
in need of using 1.4.0 (instead of a linux machine running
RedHat).

Or is there a way for me to open the existing jdk versions for
Redhat or linux using kde? I've got kde running on XDarwin. And
the distribution comes in .rpm files or .bin files. I can't make the
.bin file to work (I tried using a " ./ " command) and I can't open up
the rpm file. Would this work? Any thoughts?

later days
