Trying to install tetex
In dselect I run in unresolved (unresolvable?) dependency problems,
Installing tetex-base asks for tetex-texmf which seems not to be not found.

So I tried
sudo apt-get install bundle-tetex
...
E: Couldn't find package bundle-tetex

Finally I attempted compilation:

sudo /sw/bin/fink install bundle-tetex
...
The following 10 additional packages will be installed:
context hyperref libjpeg libtiff oberdiek pdftex tetex-base tetex-macosx
 tetex-texmf texinfo

...
curl -f -L -s -S -o oberdiek-20010827.zip
ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/supported/oberdiek.zip
curl -f -L -s -S -O
ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/pdftex/0.14h/pdftex-20010417.tgz
curl: (9) Couldn't change to directory tex-archive/systems/pdftex/0.14h
### curl failed, exit code 9
Downloading the file "pdftex-20010417.tgz" failed.

(I tried all resulting options but ended in:)

Failed: file download failed for pdftex-20010417.tgz of package pdftex-20010417-6

###############

fink list
  shows
pdftex 20010417-6 Generate PDF from TeX directly

How to proceed?
Is an independent non-fink download the only option (this makes upgrade tedious as
described in the description/info of tex-base)

I have used OzTeX on OS 9 (but only occasionally)
