Title: selfupdate and update-all fail
Hi:

Although I did use selfupdate and update-all several times before, it would not work any more. Below is the output that  I get:

[gattuso:~] gattuso% fink selfupdate
sudo /sw/bin/fink selfupdate
Password:

Your Fink installation is set up to update package descriptions directly from
CVS. Do you want to use this setup and update now? [Y/n]

I will now run the cvs command to retrieve the latest package descriptions.
The 'su' command will be used to run the cvs command as the user 'gattuso'.
After that, the core packages will be updated right away; you should then
update the other packages using commands like 'fink update-all'.

su gattuso -c 'cvs -z3 update -d -P'
cvs update: could not open /Users/gattuso/.cvspass: No such file or directory
cvs [update aborted]: use "cvs login" to log in first
### su failed, exit code 1
Failed: Updating using CVS failed. Check the error messages above.

I have also tried selfupdate -cvs, as suggested in the list archives but I get the same error. "cvs login" did not help either:

[gattuso:~] gattuso% cvs login
cvs login: No CVSROOT specified!  Please use the `-d' option
cvs [login aborted]: or set the CVSROOT environment variable.

I am unaware of the .cvspass file and am afraid to mess things up if I fool around in the unix directories without any instruction from a knowledgeable user. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
