Hi, i had a fink installation with a lot of broken packages on so deleted the /sw directory. I then reinstalled fink and the installation deleted my users (except for root). ls -l now lists the usernumber instead of the username. After rebooting (with cmd v) i'm stalled at a blue screen and the desktop is unable to load due to bad permissions. I don't know how to restore the username and change the permissions to make my desktop work again. It seems i can't use usermod or change /etc/password like in linux. Please somebody help.
