Seems that the povray folk have posted an updated version but given the tgz file the same name. Not helpful... I didn't actually port povray so I have asked the guy who did it to update it and he has promised me he will take a look in the next few days...

I looked around for an old version, but I didn't succeed. Thanks for your help.
It looks like the upstream site has changed the source tarball (hence
the 3.50c instead of 3.50b, without changing the filename. There may be
an older version around on the website somewhere, if you search for it
(like an /old directory or something similar). If not, you'll have to
wait for an update from the maintainer.
