I have found the solution: ghostscipt was installed in fink through "system-ghostscript", since I had also installed directly TeXShop. This version of gs does not include the x11* drivers. after installing gs directly in fink, gv works. I have another problem. I have tried to install pari-gp. The installation failed, but I cannot get rid of it and I get the following message when using install or configure: Removing pari-gp ... /sw/var/lib/dpkg/info/pari-gp.prerm: no such file or directory: /sw/lib/emacsen-common/emacs-package-remove [6] dpkg: error processing pari-gp (--remove): subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 /sw/var/lib/dpkg/info/pari-gp.postinst: no such file or directory: /sw/lib/emacsen-common/emacs-package-install [6] dpkg: error while cleaning up: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: pari-gp E: Sub-process /sw/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again What should I do to leave this dead-end?
