So I tried to install the bundle-kde-ssl package two nights ago, only to
have the installation end with this error yesterday:

dpkg: regarding .../kdelibs3-ssl_3.0.7-4_darwin-powerpc.deb containing
kdelibs3-ssl:

kdelibs3-ssl provides keramik and is to be installed.

I assumed that means I should remove the kdelibs3 and kdelibs3-dev packages
(which I did not explicitly install). So I did with this command: "sudo dpkg
-r --force-depends kdelibs3 kdelibs3-dev."

Then I manually installed the kdelibs3-ssl and kdelibs3-dev-ssl packages
without any errors.

Now wanting to make sure that all the packages in the original
bundle-kde-ssl were installed properly, I did a "fink list kde" and looked
to see if there was an "i" next to it. There wasn't.

Not knowing what else to do, I ran "fink install bundle-kde-ssl" again and
it looked like it had to reinstall EVERYTHING and took all night of course.
But it worked.

Was there something else I could/should have done?

Thanks.
