when i try to update install automake on 10.1.5 it ends in configuration with error: Autoconf 2.52 or better is required.

I have autoconf25 installed and the original apple autoconf is renamed to autoconf.old

[ i autoconf25 2.54-1 System for generating configure scripts]

autoconf --version gives:
