I still have not been able to get gnuplot working. i definitely have
/sw/lib/libncurses.5.dylib -> libncurses.5.0.2.dylib

and when i use fink to update ncurses, it says everything is already
updated and installed.

i've also made sure that fink is up to date using fink selfupdate-cvs, and
have made sure all the packages are updated using fink update-all. i've
also run fix-fink.

i've also tried removing and reinstalling gnuplot to no avail.

my developer tools also seem to be updated and in good working order.

when i tried using dselect to remove ncurses (and then reinstall it) it
gave me many messages about how critical ncurses was and how i should not
remove it unless i knew EXACTLY what i was doing. i got scared off.

if you have any ideas on how to proceed i would really appreciate it.

thanks a million
adam
