Hello:

I'm having trouble installing Fink.

Following the instructions on http://fink.sourceforge.net/download/index.php
I've done "pico .cshrc" as instructed. However, I can can't do this command:

fink scanpackages

I get this error:

fink: Command not found.

If I navigate to /sw/bin I can do "./fink scanpackages" from there only.

I cannot do "sudo dselect" as the instructions say. I have to do "sudo
./dselect" while in /sw/bin

Finally, when I try to do an "Update", I get this error:

/sw/lib/dpkg/methods/apt/update: apt-config: command not found

update available list script returned error exit status 127.
Press <enter> to continue.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.
