The main problem is that I want now install "Lilypond" with Fink. But it requires a full installation of teTeX, via the depedencies. That's a problem because I already have a fully functionnal installation. So I have installed the "system-tetex" package of Fink. It's OK and has detected that I had a functionnal installation. What I would do in your case (no guarantees):
The problem is that Fink continues to say me that it needs to install teTeX to install Lilypond.
So, how to make that it understands that it's not necessary to install teTeX ?
1. Copy the lilypond info and patch files from /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/finkinfo/text/ to /sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/
2. Edit the lilypond-1.6.6-1.info file so that the Depends: line has "bundle-tetex | system-tetex" instead of "bundle-tetex" at the end.
3. Run "fink install lilypond".
4. If it compiles, try whether it works. In case it works, write to the package maintainer and ask him to include your correction into the "official" info file.
5. If it doesn't compile or work correctly, try to find out why. Fix it and go to 4.
6. If you don't get it to work (There may be a reason, after all, why it depends on fink's tetex and not optionally on system-tetex), ask the package maintainer (or the fink-users list) for advice.
