This is true for installing packages from source as long as your
info/patch files on the home machine call on the same source file (i.e.
make sure to "selfupdate-cvs" both).  Then you can just do "fink
install" to install them

If you're downloading binaries, then you can install them, too.  You may
need to modify /sw/etc/sources.list .  Check out "man sources.list".
