selfupdate updates you to a new point release (e.g. 0.4.1 -> 0.5.0a) and
gives you the appropriate package info files.

selfupdate-cvs gives you access to yet newer versions of the packages
than those in the latest point release, using the fink CVS repository
(hence the name).
