It seemed that I needed it to get the CVS updating working in Fink. :)

Ren,
I've seen some mention in passing that for compiling fink packages
under
MacOS X 10.2.3 one needs the December 2002 Developer Tools. I
decided to
check fink.sourceforge.net for anything supporting the above
direction.
A 10 minute search did not find any support for this claim, one would
think
it would be there and be easy to find, perhaps "in your face" given
how
important it is.
It's not required for anything that I'm aware of but the qt package
currently. A fix in the december tools are required for qt designer
to work properly.
Therefore, could someone out there cite a fink.sourceforge.net web
page
claiming the need for the December 2002 Developer Tools? I don't
want to
fork over $25 unless it is necessary.
It is not necessary to pay $25. They are a free download from
http://developer.apple.com/. You sign up for a (free) ADC account,
and then download them.
