I just included the line "source /sw/bin/init.sh" into my .xinitrc, and now GIMP is able to see some of my Aqua fonts.Hi everyone!Are you using Apple's X11 with your own .xinitrc that call's fink's init.sh? If not, you won't see them because the font packages' scripts that set up the fontpath don't get run.
I've just installed applesystemfonts 1.0-1 ("fink install applesystemfonts"). However, I can't see the Aqua fonts available for my X-Window applications (Gimp, LyX, etc...)
My setup is completely up-to-date, since I perform a selfupdate-cvs and an update-all on a daily basis. I also got Dec. 2002 Dev. Tools installed along with Apple's X11.
Am I missing something?
I believe the reason it works in "real" X11 is that it's set up to pull in the user's environment on startup, but Apple's doesn't. I think. =)
However, Texmacs and AbiWord don't, for instance. Are they suppose to see them?
