Hi,
I am having problem with selfupdating Fink and I thought that some of
you might be able to help me to sort this out. The update log is listed at
the end of the message.
I want to say that I have been using my Fink set up for almost 5 months
now and had not have problem with selfupdating. I have not ran selfupdate
since December and just tried a couple of days ago. When I first ran
"selfupdate-cvs", I got through to the first "cvs update: cannot open
CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory" error. When I ran
"selfupdate-cvs" again, it got a couple of lines further. If I were to run
"selfupdate-cvs" every time after it has failed, then it gets a couple of
lines further.
I inactivated Norton Antivirus the first time I encountered error and
that did not resolve my problem. My Fink version is 0.11.1 and my system is
TiPB 550, Jaguar (10.2.3) and Dec 2002 Dev Tool.
Thanks for you guys' help.
