[Fink-beginners] missing library?

Hi All,

I've just installed the r-base package using dselect and it installed
the software R. I'm now trying to install an R package that's not
part of fink and am having trouble compiling this R package.
I wonder if there is a fink-related solution, perhaps adding a library
that I don't currently have?

The error I get is "ld: can't locate file for: -ldl" and is also shown
at the bottom of the following block of text. Below that I have a list
of the packages on my system. I'm using "Package manager version:
0.11.1" and "Distribution version: 0.5.1.cvs".
