Hi folks I recently ran a fink selfupdate and update-all which among a number of things updated the postgresql-ssl package.
I had a few problems with the update but managed to get it sussed by manually installing a couple of packages and then redoing the update-all (sorry, didn't keep details after I got it working). When I went to fire up postgresql I got an error about pg_sql not found, and doing a fink list saw that it was no longer installed. I did a fink install postgresql-ssl which was very quick (presumably Fink was using the debs (I think that's the right term)). But I'm still missing pg_sql and even postmaster. There's no sign of either with the find command and nothing starting pg_* in the /sw/bin directory. A Fink reinstall of postgresql-ssl ran OK but hasn't helped (output below). What's the next move? Thanks. [1083 ~/Desktop]% fink reinstall postgresql-ssl sudo /sw/bin/fink reinstall postgresql-ssl Password: Information about 2249 packages read in 3 seconds.
