Is SDK the Apple Developer Tools package released in Dec 2002? (I have downloaded and installed) There is nothing on the ADC site that is called SDK that seems to have anything to do with OSX. I have downloaded everything from the X11 page that looks current but I see nothing labeled SDK either. I feel like I am not seeing something really obvious. Any suggestions are appreciated.
You are indeed missing something obvious. Read the error message quote above again, and follow the link given in it. In it click the download button, which leads to http://www.apple.com/macosx/x11/download/. There, at the bottom right, is the SDK download!
