You can use iInstaller itself to remove tetex or the other packages it had installed. I don't have it here to check the details, but you should open the known packages list, then select and open the relevant package. This gives you a window with different tags, one of which should be something like install & remove, just press the remove button. To free up space you should also remove the iInstaller files which are somewhere in your home directory, probably in ~/Documents.
