The monitor on my ebook suddenly stopped working. To be more percise: it appears almost totally white, with some strains of different colors. There isn't anything I can do about. I switched it off, turned it on one day later... The problem does not go away.
I think the software probably still works... I hear sounds when I press keys... If it were a PC running Linux or Windows, I could restart in console mode, but as it is a Mac, the computer is presently out of use. I will have to bring it to a shop and ask for advice... I have no idea how and why this happened. It just did. I hadn't done anything special. It seems there is a weekness in the hardware. I would like to ask other ibook users: did such a thing ever happen to you?
