hi everyone,
I noticed that when I updated fink and it started using rsync, it no longer pauses to ask me if I want to continue before starting to install when I use fink update-all. This is very undesirable because I frequently want to check and see how many updates there are even if I don't want them to install right at that moment. fink list -o doesn't show me if there are any dependancies that need to be installed as a result of the upgrades. Since I'm having trouble installing some packages, it would be nice to be able to jot down what needed to be updated before it scrolled off the screen. Before this change, there was an option to have fink pick the default with every prompt (--yes). Is there now an (undocumented) option that will have fink stop and ask if I want to continue before installing?
thanks.
