"fink rebuild" tries to rebuild the *same* version as you already have installed.

Information about 640 packages read in 0 seconds.
The following package will be rebuilt:
gimp
Failed: can't build gimp-1.2.4-1 because no package description is available

There is now version 1.2.4-11 in stable or 1.2.5-1 in unstable. To get one of these, say "fink install gimp" or equivalently "fink update gimp".

Failed: can't build gimp-1.2.4-1 because no package description is available

try running "fink selfupdate" to have fink retrieve all the package descriptions for the 10.3 version.

Tried both with the same result.

Now I can't find fink.conf to see if the new paths to the stable and unstable trees are there. Was this meant to be deleted? Or have I just lost the damn thing.

Sorry. Feel I'm running in circles...
