Hi all:
After removing and creating a new system 10.3.1 using the 4 CDs from Apple, I update the system via Software Update and I installed FINK 0.16.2 from scratch again. I have not installed a single package. I wanted to know what are the virtual packages before I proceed and I got the following for X11. Based on previous comments it seems that X11 is missing.
Package: system-xfree86 Status: install ok installed Version: 2:4.3-1 provides: x11-shlibs, libgl, libgl-shlibs, xft1-shlibs, xft2-shlibs, rman, fontconfig1-shlibs, xfree86-base-threaded-shlibs description: [placeholder for user installed x11]
Did you install the X11SDK package from the Xcode CD? It seems that you don't have /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.dylib and /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xlib.h.
