This is because /usr/bin/nm comes from the Developer Tools--this should just be a warning./sw/lib/dpkg/methods/apt/update: line 1: apt-config: command not found
Alright.
apt-config, on the other hand, should be installed as part of the apt package. Did you run the pathsetup.command script from the installer to set your Fink environment up correctly?
Yes I did, and I just ran it again, but it told me that it seems to be set up correctly already.
Is there a way for me to completely uninstall fink to try to install it again? I already tried by removing /sw but after re-installation I have the same problem...
Removing /sw should have done it. There must be something more subtle going on here. Run
ls /sw/bin/apt*
in a terminal window and see if apt-config is in the list of files.
I'm grateful for any help with this!
