Run "fink list -i xfree86" and make sure that an XFree86 package didn't get dropped on X11 by mistake--this isn't supposed to happen, though.

Also, try running the Console utility before you start X11 so that you can see what error messages come up.

I ran the "fink update-all" command and now it appears X11 won't launch. I tried restarting, it just does nothing when I click on it.
