Also, try running the Console utility before you start X11 so that you can see what error messages come up.

I ran the "fink update-all" command and now it appears X11 won't launch. I tried restarting, it just does nothing when I click on it. Apparently I've broken it somehow - possibly installed something over it? Anyway, I'm new to all of this and don't even really know where to look. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
