I just switched to Panther on my TiBook, and also on some machines in the lab.
No problem so far (well, some, but solved...), except that I have to install 2 Fink configuration, according to the machine I use:
For 'production' I tend to use only stable packages, for safety.
For 'research' (one G5 and my TiBook) I test unstable packages.
Obviously I got it wrong on one machine, and installed some unstable packages...
Is it possible to switch back to stable? (in FinkCommander prefs?).
Do I have to remove the unstable packages I installed one by one?
Would it be better to erase /sw and re-install everything?
Thank you,
Manuel
