I'm testing the IBM compilers (well, at least for one BIG code I need to use xlf, so I installed both xlf and xlc).
The trouble is that now if I ask:
[4:36pm manu ~]% which cc
/opt/ibmcmp/vacpp/6.0/bin/cc
So I think that I may experience problems with Fink packages - or all codes that rely upon gcc.
I was wondering if some of you have any experience related to that.
I could of course switch back and forth, use gcc for Fink as a default, and xlc only when required, but I'm not that experienced and fear I make big mistakes that way.
Any hint/advice?
Thanks,
Manuel
