On my external hard drive Boot drive with 10.3.2 I have installed x11,sdk,from the install disk,Fink (the latest version) anfd Fink Commander. I can't install anything as I get a message that " could not run GTK,GTK was incorrectly installed or that I moved GTK. In the latter case I may want to edit the GTK-config script: /sw/bin/GTK-config. I am befuddled as to what to do as nothing gets installed.I tried to run the script in X11's terminal and I got a tree showing where it was (I guess) I'm really ignorant as to unix and don't know what to do next. When I try to install Gimp from the source I get amessage that it can't be installed because GtK version 1.28 is not there. "if GTK was installed in prefix make sure Prefix /bin is in your path or set GTK config environment variable to the path for GTK-config. Could someone please help me as I would very much love to have Gimp for my photos and I am Unix ignorant and essentially working in the dark. Thanks,Ben
