Dear fink-beginners,

I'm having trouble getting gnuplot to work with Panther 10.3.2.
The first problem is where is it? I can't find it! Here's the situation.

I am running Apple X11 under 10.3.2.
I have installed all the SDK packages known to man from my Panther/Xtools install disks.
I have installed the Fink binaries using the disk image Fink-0.6.2-Installer.dmg
I have installed the version of Fink Commander that came on that disk image.
I have run Dist-Upgrade Packages from the FinkCommander Binary menu several times.
Everything seems up to date.
At this point gnuplot doesn't even show up in FinkCommander as an available package.
Can this be?
Even if I allow unstable packages to be listed it still doesn't show up.

My question is, how do I get a stable version of gnuplot working with X11 and Panther 10.3.2? If anyone knows how to achieve this I would be extremely grateful to hear about it. It been driving me nuts for weeks.

(I should mention that I have tried a number of other approaches to getting gnuplot to work with 10.3.2. A couple of weeks ago I installed Fink from source, together with FinkCommander. Gnuplot did then appear as an available package in FinkCommander, but after its installation the binary simply crashed every time it was executed. In other attempts there were problems with dependent libraries etc.. Please help.)

Thanks, Marvin.
