I've just installed KDE on Panther and launched and config'd it, but it won't respond to most mouse clicks. If I set X11 to full-screen mode so I can see the KDE desktop, I can move the trash can around. Klipper seems to do something to the mouse pointer, and I can bring up the desktop menus with 2nd and 3rd click (emulated, I have the stock Apple laser mouse). However, I can't dismiss the tips window (either with mouse or with enter key, as seems to be implied by the decoration on the "close" button, and I have about half a dozen Konq windows opened by clicking on the trash can which I can't get rid of either. Some of the toolbar tiles respond some of the time, but not all, and not most of the time. My .xinitrc file is as follows:

source /sw/bin/init.sh
/sw/bin/startkde >/tmp/kde.log 2>&1

If a copy of that kde.log file will help, I can post one somewhere.
