Just updated to 10.3 OSX (no problems with install by the way), but my emacs program now doesn't work?! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix the problem? I initially installed emacs under 10.2 by typing 'fink install emacs21-xaw3d', which worked fine in X11. Now, when i type emacs in the x11 window I get the following error message:
Fatal malloc_jumpstart() error
Has anybody seen this error message? had similar problems? I tried uninstalling the package (fink remove emacs) and re-installing it (fink install emacs21-xaw3d) but fink returns the error message:
No packages to install.
does anybody know why?
